The papers[1-5] discussed the basic principle and the realizing method of a simple fuzzy controller. The paper[6]considered the contradiction between the dynamic and stable performances of the simple fuzzy controller
but it utilized the linear switch to overcome this contradiction
without full play to the fuzzy controller’s functions.After discussing the effect of the change of fuzzy sets on system performances in a simple fuzzy controller
this paper presents a new fuzzy control algorithm with variable fuzzy sets to overcome the contradiction as mentioned above
which can greatly improve the response performances of sytems from software simulations. Based on the algorithm
this paper presents further new fuzzy control algorithms with self-optimizing fuzzy sets. It is shown that these algorithms are very applicable from simulations. After self-optimizing fuzzy sets
the response performances of fuzzy control systems are very satisfactory.
