Abstract
In this paper
a new array processing method based on a new array geometry and a spatial filter is presented. The array aperture can be increased by the array geometry. To avoid spatial frequency aliasing
spatial filtering is applied to the new array geometry as preprocessing. Also the effective signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) can be raised by the spatial filtering. Simulation results have shown much better performance achieved by using the method than that obtained by using previous methods.
