Abstract

In this paper

an angle-resolved microwave coherent scattering system is described. Dielectric beam splitter was employed in this system

which facilitates the scan of scattering angle. The dispersion relation of ion acoustic wave and the wavenumber resolution of the system have been measured by using this system. It is shown that the system is very suitable for studying long-wavelength electrostatic waves and instabilities in plasma.
