本文通过对图象中客体的形心和主轴进行正规化处理而得到其标准线性四元树表示方法。这种表示是客体平移、旋转和相似变化的不变量。它可以用作形状描述符帮助识别图象中的客体。利用对称差的度量匹配某客体的形状到库中一模型来识别它。
In This paper
a normalized linear quadtree representation is obtained by normalizing an object with respect to its centroid and principal axes. This representation is invariant to the translation
rotation
and scaling change of the object. Therefore
it can be used as a shape descriptor to aid in the identification of objects in images. An object may be identified by matching its shape to one of a number of models contained in a library utilizing a measure of symmetric difference.
