Numerical Analysis of Waveguide Discontinuity Problems by Using Network Model Decomposition Method
The field distribution of the waveguide discontinuity region has been represented by the nodal voltage in network model
and the field external to the region has been replaced by equivalent current sources connected to the boundary nodes. The [S] parameters of an E-plane or H-plane discontinuity can be determined by using the diakoptic node analysis in electric circuit theory. Numerical results are also presented as a demonstration of the validity and effectiveness of the method. In present analysis
the power conservatiom condition is satisfied to an accuracy of ±10-5.
