Abstract
In this paper a direct and accurate calculation of aberration integrals containing up to fourth order derivatives has first been performed. Its feature is that the calculation does not need to reduce the orders of derivatives but still keeps accuracy high enough. In comparison of the computational results of two-tube electrostatic lenses with those in Reference [6] the average relative error is about 0.6%. The author believes that this method will facilitate the design of electron and ion optical systems.
