摘要

本文提出了一种利用语音信号分布特性的矢量量化方法。此方法的主要特点是利用语音信号的概率分布在不同子空间中的相似性

减小设计码书的尺寸及搜索空间。

Abstract

A new approach which exploits the distribution properties of speech signal for vector quantization of speech signal is proposed in the paper. It greatly reduces the computational complexities in the design of vector quantizer and the procedure of quantizing.
