摘要

各种地学专题图包含了丰富的空间信息。对于平面图而言

空间实体一般以点、线及区域三类空间元素来表示。本文以典型的多边形区域类型的专题图为主讨论其空间位置和相互拓扑关系等信息的表示形式

说明其数据结构及文件组织。给出了对专题图进行操作变换的基本算法

并指出了采用矢量数据结构以清晰描述实体间拓扑关系的明显优点。

Abstract

A vector-structure information scheme is presented for explicit representation of topological relations between spatial objects. In contrast with the traditional geological information systems

which mainly use geometrical coordinates to represent points

line segments

or polygonenclosed areas

the information concerning the topological relations

such as containment

bordering or crossing between geometrical objects

can be directly acquired in the proposed systems. Algorithms for operations on geological/geographical maps are also discussed.
