Abstract
The high frequency solution of radiation from slot on an infinite long
thin dielectric coated circular cylinder is obtained. It is expressed in simple GTD form and is continuous across the shadow boundary transition region. The normalized patterns are calculated via GTD solution. The effects of the dielectric coating thickness and dielectric constant εr are studied. The solutions given in this paper agree with those obtained from exact solution very well
and the calculations can be obtained at a high speed.
