摘要

本文提出一种识别国标两级（6763个）印刷体汉字的新方法。根据汉字的结构

定义了一组结构特征（边框特征、局部特征和笔划端结点）

作为预分类和匹配、识别的依据。建立了一个识别6763个汉字的实验系统。实验结果表明

系统具有较高的抗干扰能力

正确识别率优于98％。

Abstract

A new approach for printed Chinese character recognition is presented in this paper. According to the structure of Chinese characters

a set of structural characteristics （peripheral feature

local patterns

end points and cross points of strokes） is defined and used for pre-classification and matching.An experimental recognition system has been developed for recognizing 6763 different printed Chinese characters. Experiment shows that the correct recognition rate is better than 98%.
