摘要

本文介绍一种新的变换——相移cosine变换（PSCT）。PSCT几乎可以把一阶马尔柯夫系列的偶部的协方差矩阵对角化。本文还建立起几种衡量一种变换与Karhunen-Loeve变换（KLT）接近程度的则准。所有这些准则都表明PSCT比第Ⅱ种cosine变换（DCT-Ⅱ）更接近于KLT。

Abstract

A new transform

the phase shift cosine transform （PSCT）

is introduced. It almost diagonizes the covariance matrix of the even part of a high correlated Markov-Ⅰ sequence. Several criteria are established for measuring the closeness of a transform to the Kar-hunen-Loeve transform （KLT）. All these criteria show that the PSCT measures closer to the even part of the KLT than the version-Ⅱ of the discrete cosine transform （DCT-Ⅱ）.
