摘要

本文按照预测误差熵值最小的准则

修改了文献[1]的方案

得出一个新的自适应DPCM图象编码方案。计算表明

本方案性能良好

算法亦较为简单。

Abstract

A new scheme for adaptive DPCM picture coding is proposed by modifying the scheme previously reported in [1]

using the criterion of minimum entropy value of prediction errors. Calculations of the entropy and RME values with four test pictures （sampling frequency 10 MHz）show that

the scheme has good performances

while its algorithm is relatively simple.
