The allowable bit-error number selection based on a bit error rate in correlating recognition for typical procedures of frame synchronization is described
and a stable and optimal performance of the system can be achieved in this way. In Search mode
a more complete expression of frame synchronization one-pass acquisition probability is obtained. In verification and lock modes
for compensating loss and gain in timing pulses
a multi-bit detection aperture is recommended. Finally
the allowable bit-error number when using the multi-bit aperture is analysed.
