Abstract
As well known
it is very advantageous to calculate basic parameters of two dimensional cavity resonators
made of ideal conductor
by solving equations 2E + K2E = 0 and · E = 0. Such a method has been developed for three dimensional case. Instead of the usual linear extrapolation
a new way with high accuracy is proposed for treating the boundary condition for the normal component of the electrical field. The numerical results are fairly satisfying.
