This paper describes the influence of both magnetization of substrate and length of coupling-line
on both the frequency characteristic of insertion loss and the frequency characteristic of differential phase shift of a multistrip device
and the magnetic interference in the multidigit stage-joint device. The factors mentioned above must be taken into consideration if one wants to extend the bandwidth of the multidigit device. The main properties of 3 and 4 digit ferrite microstrip shifters are also given.
