本文对任意有限接收缓存器下选择重传ARQ系统的通过率进行了分析。结果表明
选择适当容量的缓存器(在对溢出作适当处理的情况下)
可以得到较好的性能。
The throughput efficiency of the ideal selective-repeat ARQ scheme (with infinite receiver buffer) is independent of the round-trip delay[1]. However
to achieve this ideal throughput efficiency
extensive buffering (theoretically infinite) is required at the receiver because ordinarily data blocks must be delivered to the user in correct order. If a finite buffer is used at the receiver
buffer overflow may occur and will reduce the throughput of the system. In this paper the throughput performance of the selective-repeat ARQ which operates with a finite receiver buffer store is provided and if the buffer overflow is handle properly
the selective-repeat ARQ still offers better performance.
