摘要

我们在国内首次研制成功钛扩散LiNbO

定向耦合调制器。在0.6328μm的光波长

加4kHz、50kHz及620kHz调制信号电压

进行了调制实验。调制器样品的消光比为-16.4dB

器件的电容为3.48pF

3dB带宽达1.8GHz。

Abstract

A directional coupler optical modulator has been fabricated with Ti-diffused LiNbO3 waveguide for the first time in our country. Modulation experiments were made at the optical wavelength of 0.6328 μm

using modulation signals of 4 kHz

50 kHz and 620 kHz. The modulation characteristics were: an extinction ratio of -16.4 dB

a capacitance of 3.48 pF and a 3 dB bandwidth of 1.8 GHz.
