Properly grouping the smooth coefficients in the data smoothing to make the smooth coefficients equal in each group will considerably decrease the total times for multiplying operations in the smoothing operation. This paper presents the methods for grouping data-smoothing in the q-order polynomial approximation on the arbitrary points. And the errors of the grouping data-smoothing are compared ’with the errors of the conventional data-smothing in the polynomial approximation.
