众所周知
在有限距离用两个相同的喇叭天线测得的"增益值"与远区的值有很大的差别
需要对它加以改正. 为此
E.H.Braun提出了改正的近似计算方法
在他的文章中指出计算结果跟实验很符合。但是
Braun的工作中忽略了接收口径上入射场的相位关系。而我们发现
当测量距离近于4D
2
/λ时(D——径尺寸
λ——波长)
将会引起颇大的误差。本文给出一种更合理的近似计算方法
计算结果列在表Ⅰ和Ⅱ中
从表中可看出
这种方法给出了比Braun法夏为准确的结果。
It is well-known that the values of power gain of an electromagnetic horn as obtained by measurements made with two identical horns at finite distances are different from the true value which might be obtained if the measurements were carried out at infinite distance. In view of this
E. H. Braun has worked out a method for the calculation of the appropriate corrections which should be applied when the measurements of horns are being made at various finite distances. In his original paper
it is shown that the results of calculation are in fair agreement with experiments. However
in Braun’s method
the phase relationship of incident field on receiving aperture is not considered. This
as a matter of fact
introduces appreciable errors when the distances concerned approach 4D
2
/λ(D——linear dimension of the aperture
λ——wave length). In this paper
an improved method of approximation is given
the results of calculations are listed in table Ⅰ and Ⅱ
in which it is shown that the accuracy of this new method is superior to that of Braun’s.
