High Precision Direct Position Determination Method for Satellite Navigation Spoofing
A direct position determination method called DS-DPD(DeSpreading Direct Position Determination) which is based on satellite navigation signal characteristics is proposed to improve the positioning accuracy of satellite navigation spoofing. The received signal model is first established
which takes the transmission delay
Doppler frequency shift and satellite code signal into account. The maximum likelihood(ML) criterion is then utilized to construct the objective function of DS-DPD
and the location parameters can be obtained through a two-dimensional spectral search of the objective function. The proposed method utilizes partial knowledge of the satellites’ code sequences
which in turn provides significant gains in positioning accuracy. Numerical simulations verify the positioning performance improvement of the proposed DS-DPD algorithm. Especially
when the interference to noise ratio(INR) is -30dB
the positioning accuracy could be improved by more than 10 times due to its full utilization of the delay
