This paper sets up a two-dimensional space time clutter model for bistatic airborne early warning(AEW) radar.The impact on clutter spectrum of the practical factors such as the geometric configurations of bistatic radar
the parameters of radar system
range ambiguity and all kinds of errors etc.is considered in the model.The clutter characteristics is analyzed based on this model. The rationality of the clutter model is illustrated by computing two dimensional space-time likelihood spectra.This model can be used for studying the clutter suppression and STAP techniques for bistatic AEW radar.
