The stability and capability of routing protocol implementations (RPI) in a router is becoming more and more important with the growth of Internet.This paper proposes a novel approach named stress testing technique to test RPI.Comparing with traditional testing techniques
we propose the abstract method of stress testing and build the test environment.A stochastic Petri Net model given in this paper illustrates the stress testing process for OSPF.Based on this approach
