This paper proposes a new method of pilot arrangement for channel estimation in Single-Carrier modulation with Frequency Domain Equalization (SC-FDE) systems
and analyzes its performance.The new method
which is based on Hadamard transform and interleaver
can eliminate cross interference between pilot and data part in severe multipath environment
and can achieve accurate channel parameters easily.Theoretical analyses and simulation results show that this scheme with low overhead and low implementation complexity has good performance in channel estimation
and it is suitable for mobile transmission with high spectrum efficiency even in time-varying multipath channel.
