The status

function and limitation of current navigation techniques are analyzed

the current technologic condition and understandings to celestial navigation techniques are summarized

the advantages of celestial navigation techniques are pointed out.Based on this

the emphasis of this paper is to discuss some key techniques in improving celestial navigation

such as the radio signal measurement of both natural and artificial celestial bodies

some new celestial navigation methods which are free from horizontal benchmark or visible light observation.
