In order to have a good performance for maneuvering target tracking
A fuzzy variable structure interacting multiple model (FVSIMM) algorithm based on
H
∞
filter is proposed in this paper. It introduces
H
∞
filter as model-conditional filter
which keeps its robustness by constantly adjusting parameter
to improve the performance and the precision. Meanwhile
the algorithm takes model probabilities of the IMM algorithm as the input of fuzzy inference system. By the fuzzy logic inference to update model probabilities
it adjusts the number of models and parameters in real-time
reduces excessive competition
and realizes variable structure function. The simulation results indicate that
the algorithm has higher tracking accuracy than standard IMM algorithm.
