Channel estimation for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is very important when it is used in mobile communication field.Analyzed a linear minimum mean-squared error (LMMSE) algorithm using frequency correlation
provided approximate estimation for some key parameters as channel maximum time delay
noise power based on theoretic model assumption.Derived a practical MMSE channel estimation method
and analyzed its complexity and the way to further simplify the algorithm.Presented the performance simulation to this improved MMSE algorithm in different channel conditions
