本文着重介绍了一类用于复杂目标三维电磁散射精确建模和数值分析的新型高效数值方法,即快速多极子方法(FMM)和多层快速多极子方法(MLFMA).它在应用数值方法进行散射分析时,尽可能地调用各种高效分析手段以降低其计算量与存储需求.文中首先概括了FMM和MLFMA的主要理论,然后总结了它们与各种高效分析方法相结合的一些新的研究成果,最后简介这些方法的典型应用实例及发展前景.
In this paper
the new efficient methods for precise modeling and numerical analysis of EM scattering from 3-dimensional objects with complex structue-fast multipole method (FMM) and multilevel fast multipole (MLFMA)have been introduced. These methods employ various efficient techiques to reduce the calculation complexity and memory requirement in numerical analysis of EM scattering. The theory of FMM and MLFMA is summarized in this paper. Then some new research results of these methods combined with various efficient techniques are presented. Finally some typical application results and prospects of these methods are introduced briefly.
