A physical model and a method for analysing and calculating the distributive capacitances andthe resonant freqUencies of the spiral resonators are described. First

the charge distributions on the spirals arefound by the moment method. Then the distributive capacitances of the spiral resonators are calculated. Theequivalent inductances of spiral resonators are then evaluated according to Grover’s formula

and the resonantfrequencies are finally computed .The calculated results agree well with the experimental data.
