摘要

本文提出了一种分析圆形介质棒天线反射和辐射特性的新方法，即边缘元结合模匹配的方法．与常规的从场源关系出发来分析辐射问题不同，本文方法从求解介质波导结构的色散特性入手，从散射的角度将辐射问题转化为表面波和空间波的传输问题，结果使分析过程得到了很大的简化．给出的计算实例和已有文献中的计算值吻合，从而证实了本文方法的有效性．

Abstract

In this paper the reflection and radiation characteristics of circular dielectric rod antenna ex cited with HE11 mode are analyzed by a new method which combines the edge-element with mode-matching method.Unlike the convential method to treat the radiation as a“source-field”problem

in present approach

the dispersion characteristics of dielectric guided-wave structures are analyzed first

and then the radiation problem is transferred to the propagation problem of surface and space waves from the viewpoint of scattering

as a result

the analysis is tremendously simplified.Numerical results given here agree well with literature data

thus the effi ciency of present method is yerified.
