利用相关函我ry(1)估计杂波多卜勒频率是一种工程上易于实现且话用的频率估计方法.在双模(或多模)杂波情况下,这种频率估计方法因其有偏性而性能严重下降.本文在一种常见的双模杂波模型(高斯分布杂波加非高斯分布杂波)假设下,研究了一种基于四阶累积量K4y(1)的非高斯杂波多卜勒频率的(渐近)无偏估计方法.该方法利用了k4(1)所对应的所有非冗余四阶累积量元素(C4y(k1,k2,m1,m2),k1+k2-m1-m2=1)的加权和,从而明显降低了估计方差.渐近方差分析及仿真实验结果均表明,该方法的频率估计性能明显优于传统的二阶估计方法.
The clutter Doppler frequency estimation method based on the auto-correlationfunction ry(1) is commonly employed in practical radar. The performance of this method degrades
however
in bimodal clutter einvironment due to the bias of the estimation. In this paper we presenta cumulant-based frequency estimation method under the assumption that the bimodal clutter consists of a Gaussian distributed clutter and a non-Gaussian distributed one. The method makes a fullutilization of all non-redundant sample fourth-order cumulants corresponding to the one-lag cumulant K4y(1)
a counterpart of ry(1) in cumulant domain. It is shown by asymptotic analysis and simulation experiments that the method is unbiassed and outperforms the conventional correlationbased method and the cumulant-based 1-D slice method with reduced estimation mean square error.
