A new method is proposed that joint direction/frequency estimation of multiple narrowband source signals may be performed by appropriate processing of data from particular types of arrays. Its main advantage is that it does not require searching through a 2-D signal subspace nor rooting of polynomial functions of two variables. The potential capability is demonstrated by Monte Carlo simulation.
