A camera calibration method for stereoscopic disparity metrology is described and discussed. It uses stereoscopic images of same objects with known position as input. Based on the projective geometry

and initial estimate of camera parameters is determined

and then the accurate estimate of camera parameters is computed by an iterated algorithm using the least square method.
