A technique is presented for the determination of complex permittivity of low-loss liquid materials at microwave frequencies. By using high Q factor TEO

n multimeding circular cavity

and tanδ of the low-loss liquid materials can be measured accurately. The uncertainty of ε’
γ
is ±0. 5%
and that of tanδ is ± 5. 8%. Frequency response of ε’
γ
and tanδ is observed within a band. The technique is simple
rapid and automated for measurement
and it can be used for measurements of different low-loss liquid materials.
