本文利用算子方程的Neumann级数解法来研究无限长金属柱体的低频散射问题。我们分别研究了E波和H波入射时金属柱体散射问题的级数解法,并给出大量计算实例.这种级数解法的优点在于频率较低时收敛快且不涉及矩阵的求逆运算.金属柱体上的表面电流分布可通过简单的求和运算而得到,从而节约了大量计算时间.
Neumann’s method has been used to investigate the low-frequency electromagnetic scattering problems by an infinitely long conducting cylinder
Both E-wave incidence and H-wave incidence have been studied and some numerical examples have been expounded. The Neumann’s series solution has the virtues of fast convergency for low frequency calculations and does not involve the matrix inversion in the numerical formulation. The surface current distributions are obtained as simple summations
and hence the computational time is greatly saved compared with other numerical methods.
