A novel multiwaveguide system which is a sectorial waveguide-gap structure for gyromagnetron （cusptron） is presented. The characteristic equation and stored energy expression of this structure are derived. The relationships of stored energy and efficiency with its dimensions and the results of large signal calculation are given. The obtained curves provide the theoretical basis for designing this kind of structure.
