摘要

本文提出了一种新颖的集成光波导行波调制器结构．该结构利用倒置共面波导作为调制器的外调制电路，减小了光波和调制波之间的速度失配，提高了调制带宽．文中采用谱域等效传输线方法分析了倒置共面波导传输线的传播特性．

Abstract

A novel structure for integrated optical waveguide modulator is presented. It uses inverted coplanar waveguide as modulating circuit and decreases the mismatch between carrier and modulating wave

so the bandwidth of the modulator can be greatly increased. The analysis on the spectral approach is given.
