在低于场致发射电场阈值的场强下
冷阴极受到脉冲激光照射将产生光一场发射。对金取光-场发射的半经典计算结果表明
光-场发射较场发射更适于产生短脉宽高亮度电子束
且比普通光电发射具有更高的量子产额。文中特别对大电流工作特性进行了讨论。
Large current photofield emission (PPE) is obtained when laser pulses irradiate a cold cathode working just below the field emission threshold. Calculations with a semi-classical model showed that PEE is more convenient than the pulsed field emission in generating stable short-pulse and high bri-ghtness electron beams
and has higher yield than normal photocmission. The large current emission pro-perty is specially discussed.
