With the increasing demand for the performance of the speech processing system

it is becoming more and more important to investigate the speech mechanism on auditory system. In this paper

the nonlinear motion equation and the corresponding state space equation of the cochlea are established

and the Volterra functional series method is firstly used to obtain the analytic solution in frequency domain which may be arbitrarily closed to the accurate one. Moreover

it is proved that the method in Reference [1] is the special case of our method

therefore

the analysis method proposed is of generality.
