In this paper
the principle of the electromagnetic simulation is outlined
a direct-picking method is presented for determining the circuit characteristics
and two kinds of matrix-order-reduced approach are studied. All of these resulted in a fast electromagnetic simulation technique for MMIC’s
which can reduce computing time by about one order of magnitude. Two simulation examples show that the technique is very effective.
