The singular value decomposition (SVD) has been applied to the extraction of the fetal ECG(FECG) out of maternal skin measurement signals. In this pater
we emphatically seek a new method of extracting FECG that is free of maternal ECG under the condition that the path needn’t to be orthogonal. The working principle and hardware implementation of this system are introduced briefly. As one of the major problems encountered in recording ECG
the unwanted 50Hz interference is eliminated. Through a lot of experiments
feasible electrode positions are determined roughly.
