可以同时获得大发射电流密度和低的钡升华率。另一特点是激活剂的选择
某些激活剂提供阴极的良好初始活性
而其它则保证长寿所需的低的钡供应率。
A pressed multi-layer nickel matrix cathode which is specially suitable for application in high-resolution electron beam devices is presented. By the multi-layer structure
both high emission current density and low sublimation rate of barium can be simultaneously obtained. Another merit is the choice of activators. Some of them provide the high initial activation for mass production
while others guarantee the low rate of dispensing barium required for long life.
