本文提出一种新的纹理图象分割方法
其原理是将原始纹理图象化分成许多相互复盖的窗口
在每一个窗口上分別计算其纹理特征。并用该纹理特征代替窗口所对应象素的灰度值
从而把一灰度纹理图象映射成特征超平面。然后采用边缘检测方法在特征超平面上检测其特征突变点
所有这些突变点构成了不同纹理的交界线。所以检测到特征突变点就等价于完成纹理分割。在这种分割方法中
有效的纹理特征是分割准确度的关键。
A new unsupervised segmentation algorithm is proposed in this paper. In the algorithm
the texture is first divided into overlapping windows
and texture feature is derived from each of the windows. The gray level of the pixel corresponding to each window is replaced by its feature. Then the image is projected into a feature superplane. An edge detection algorithm is applied to the feature superplane to detect where the texture feature changes rapidly. In this way
the texturel boundaries in the image are detected. The effective texture feature is crucial for the segmentation accuracy.
