摘要

本文介绍了一种图象矢量量化器的设计方法

讨论了它的性能

介绍了硬件结构。计算机模拟结果表明图象信号矢量量化硬件结构是可行和有效的。最后介绍了它在窄带图象通信系统中的应用。

Abstract

The design of a vector quantizer for video signals is presented. The performance of the system is simulated on the computer and discussed. The hardware architecture is also described and the comparison between the simulation and the realization is made. It is demonstrated that the vector quantizer for video signals is realizable and efficient. Finally the application of this vector quantizer to a narrow-band video communication system is presented.
