An active compensated inverting VCVS is proposed which has only one compensation element. It is shown analytically that the phase error of the inverting VCVS transfer function is a third-order term equal to -(l+K)ω3/ω(t1)2ω(t2)
whereas the magnitude error is a second-order term equal to(1+K)ω2/ω(t1)ω(t2) over the range of frequencies ω/ω(t1)≤1 and ω≤ [ω(t1)ω(t2)/(l+K)](1/2)
where K is the closed-loop DC gain of the inverting VCVS and ω(t1) is the gain-bandwidth product of the OP AMP. An example of application and the experimental results are also given.ω
