By practical analysis and calculation of an existing solid-state phased array radar
this paper derives a mathematical model of the reliability of the antenna array composed of dependent units constructed in five amplificative layers
and accounting for the in fluence of the final power accumulative network. Using expanding methods
it is not difficult to derive the mathematical model of the reliability of the antenna array with any amplificative layer. When the power dispersive and accumulative network of the antenna array and the combined power source can not be included in the assumed amplificative unit
it may be taken as a new layer in construction. The formulas derived thereby are all applicable to analyzing and designing the redundancy of the antenna array unit of the solid-state phased array radar.
