本文利用“Mealy型时序机在计算下一内部状态和输出状态方面具有并行性”和“时序机可转化为多个内动机”这两个基本概念
提出了一个提高微计算机化时序机操作速度的方案。由此得出的总体结构是一双微处理机系统
它的操作速度比单微计算机方案提高1.4倍。文中以M6800系列组成的这种时序机为例
说明了上述两基本概念的具体体现。
In this paper is presented an architecture of duplexmicroprocessor system for increasing the operating speed of computerized sequential machines
exploiting two ideas which sequential machines inherit. That is to say
( 1 ) sequential machines of Mealy type possess proper characteristics of parallelism im their computation of next internal state and output state; ( 2 ) any sequential machine can be converted into a corresponding amount of autonomous sequential machines. Analysis shows that in comparison with the operating speed of single microcomputer scheme
the operating speed of the duplex-microprocessor system can be increased in a factor of 2.4.Based on the M6800 microcomputer family
a duplex-microprocessor sequential machine is designed to illustrate how to implement the two ideas.
