This paper presents a simple low loss simulated inductor using only two transistors and a few RC passive elements. In realization of simulated inductance

the alignment is eas ily effected by only varying the value of one of the resistors or the capacitor to get the correct inductance value. Moreover

the value of Q can be compensated to designed value. Theoretical analysis and experiments are well matched. Using this simulated inductor

high pass filter is constructed with good performance. Thus

it is proved suitable for engineering application.
