摘要

本文描述一种新型的放电管

可以水平地插入圆波导作为标准噪声源。在3厘米波段工作时

当终端短路的情况下对波导系统的匹配是良好的（V.S.W.R=1.10±0.05）

并且具有18±0.5db的稳定噪声输出。这结果可以应用在发展8毫米以下及10厘米以上的波导型噪声管的研究工作上。

Abstract

This paper describes a new type of gas discharge tube which can be inserted horizontally into a circular waveguide as a standard noise source. It gives good matching （VS

WR = 1.10±0.05） to the waveguide system with a short circuit at one end and a .stable noise out put of 18±0.5 db in the 3 cm wavelength. This result has useful applications to the development of noise tubes in the wavelength region below 8 mm and above 10 cm.
