在部署第五代(Fifth Generation,5G)通信基站天线时,通常将它们与现网天线放置在一起,以节省塔面空间.但是工作在不同频段的天线将相互干扰、导致天线单元之间的互隔离度降低,影响整机性能.为了解决这一问题,作者选取工作在1 710~1 880 MHz频段的第二代(Second Generation,2G)通信系统天线和工作在3 400~3 800 MHz频段的5G天线作为实施实例,将它们临近放置,并在低频单元辐射臂周围设置双条带结构(Double Strip Structure,DSS).该双条带结构谐振在高频段,可以有效减小低频单元在高频段的雷达散射截面(Radar Cross Section,RCS),使低频单元辐射的高频能量被吸收,提升两天线单元在高频段的端口互隔离度.仿真结果显示,设置双条带耦合抑制结构,会使高低频单元同极化端口之间在高频段的互隔离度有5~20 dB的提升,此外,该耦合抑制结构并不会增加低频单元的损耗.对天线样机的测试结果表明,与仿真结果较为吻合.综上所述,本文提出的耦合抑制方法具有集成度高、无增益损失等优点,可应用在多频多制式基站天线系统中.
In the deployment of fifth generation (5G) base station antenna
the antenna is usually placed together with the original antennas to save tower space. However
antennas working in different frequency bands will inevitably interfere with each other
resulting in the reduction of the mutual isolation between antenna elements
and affecting the antenna performance. To solve the problem
the author selects the second generation (2G) antenna working in the 1 710~1 880 MHz band and the 5G antenna working in the 3 400~3 800 MHz band as the example. They are placed close to each other
and a double-strip structure (DSS) is set around the radiating arms of the low band element. The double-strip structure resonates in the high frequency band. It can effectively reduce the radar cross section (RCS) of the low band element and absorb energy from the low band element in the high frequency band
thus improving the mutual isolation of the two antenna elements' ports in the high band. The simulation results show that the mutual isolation between the low and high band elements with the same polarization is improved by 5~20 dB in the high band when the coupling suppression structure is added. In addition
the coupling suppression structure will not introduce additional loss. The prototype is manufactured and tested
and the measured results are in good agreement with the simulated ones. To sum up
the decoupling method proposed in this paper has the advantages of high integration and no extra gain loss. It can be applied in the multi-frequency and multi-mode base station antenna system.
