L2P(Y) signal tracking in dual-frequency receiver can be implemented by employing semi-codeless method.However
the actual L2P(Y) signal carrier to noise ratio is very low due to squaring-loss.As a result
higher performance requirements are needed for L2P(Y) signal tracking loop.This paper presents a way of using dynamic-aided L2P(Y) tracking.Loop design details are given
and the various factors affecting the performance of the loop are discussed in detail.The performances of the dynamic-aided loop and the none-aided loop are compared through computer simulation.Simulation results show that dynamic-aided method can track L2P(Y) signal in lower carrier to noise ratios effectively.
